General
When will the virtual bake sale take place?
The virtual bake sale will take place April 30th - May 2.

How will the virtual bake sale work?
Bloggers will provide information about the baked goods they are going to be donating. Each item will get its own blog post when the bake sale opens. Each item will also be tagged as either "Cookies", "Brownies/Bars", or "Other" so that you can easily find what you are looking for.

All items will appear on this blog at 12:01 (EST) on Monday, April 30th. If you would like to bid on an item, leave a comment with the dollar amount you would like to bid. All bidding will start at $15.

Comments will not be moderated, so please be sure to out-bid the previous highest bidder.

Bidding will close at 11:59 PM (EST) on Wednesday, May 2nd. At this time commenting will be closed on all posts.


How do I know if I won an item?
During the weekend of May 5-6, the winners of each item will be contacted by Bloggers Bake for Hope. The email will tell you which item(s) you won and the donation required for each item.

Once the donation has been made through Paypal, your address will be sent to the baker who will ship the baked goods to your address.


How do I pay for the baked goods I won?
We have set up a Paypal account to make this easy for you. Simple click on the "Donate" button on the home page.

When will my baked goods arrive at my mailing address?
We are asking the bakers to ship their baked goods some time during the month of May.

I have a question about the ingredients in a particular baked good. Can I found out what's in it?
Email bloggersbakeforhope@gmail.com. We will forward your question to the particular baker.

How do I register to donate baked goods?
Please fill out the Baker's Registration form. Once you have filled out the form, email a photo of your item to BloggersBakeForHope@gmail.com

If I register to donate baked goods, what is expected of me?
Bakers will be expected to provide a photo of their baked good in advance of the bake sale so it can be posted on this blog. Once the winner's address is sent to you via email, please ship the baked goods by the end of May.

For the recipe you are using, please donate a full batch consisting of a minimum of 12 muffins or cupcakes, 2 dozen cookies, or an 8x8 pan worth of brownies/bars.

We would also appreciate if you could help spread the word about the bake sale by posting on your blog about it, Tweeting it, or posting on Facebook at Bloggers Bake for Hope.


How will I get the address of the person who won my baked goods?
Once the winners have submitted their donation through Paypal, their shipping address will be emailed to you.
